The Defence Science Institute is pleased to announce the University of Melbourne and RMIT University have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This arrangement through the Defence Science Institute will facilitate collaborations by researchers at the two universities on defence related projects with the ultimate aim of strengthening Australia’s capabilities in defence science.

The Defence Science Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Associate Professor Clint Heinze, from the Defence Science and Technology Organisation, as Associate Director. Associate Professor Heinze brings with him extensive expertise and experience within a science research environment.
